Traveling between vineyards aboard an elegant horse-drawn carriage is much more fun when you share that experience with family, coworkers or group of friends. Try the different route alternatives that we propose in Equestrian Wine Tourism and enjoy a fun and cultural day in full contact with nature. We have designed a varied program of activities to make it much easier for you to choose a route option. Although each proposal has particular characteristics, all of them take place in the most beautiful vineyard areas of La Rioja and include activity insurance.
The rural walk consists of a tour of approximately 2 and a half hours, in which you can enjoy a peaceful horse-drawn carriage ride through vineyards. It is one of the most popular options for birthday celebrations and bachelor parties. Available for all ages with a maximum of 12 people. Before the start of the tour, we will give you a brief introduction about the history and particularities of this means of transport, the training of carriage horses and some equestrian curiosities that you will find very interesting. In addition, you will be able to have direct contact with the animals. Once we are ready, we will begin the tour according to the travel option you have contracted.
If you think that standard activities will leave you wanting more, we suggest expanding your options for your horse-drawn carriage ride by complementing it with either a restaurant meal or a winery visit.
Those who prefer to take things at a more leisurely pace generally opt for the alternative of a wine tasting and local product sampling tour. This tasting, with premium wines, takes place in the natural settings that are part of the tour, enjoying a moment of pause and delight for the palate. All of this complements the route through the vineyards and crops in our horse-drawn carriages, with a stop along the way where you can enjoy the vineyards and fantastic views.
